Un-four-gettable: Yossarian Hits for Cycle Thursday, August 2nd , 2046 John Yossarian truly did it all at Washington Stadium today. The Hollywood Shredders right fielder hit for the cycle -- collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- as he paced his club to victory, 10-1 over the D.C. Divided. "You know that sweet sound you hear when you hit the ball just right? I heard that every time today," Yossarian said later. "It was a heck of a feeling." It was a game good enough for him to make a little history. He bombed D.C. pitching for 4 hits in 5 at-bats and his name will now go into the record books. Yossarian also racked up 2 RBI and 2 runs scored in the game. John Yossarian hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ron Blackshaw in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
