Cugnoni Nabs SL Monthly Rookie Award Wednesday, August 1st , 2046 Last month Tommaso Cugnoni beguiled and intimidated United States Silver League teams and put up 3 victories. Today the Colorado hurler was awarded the league's Rookie of the Month trophy. He was acclaimed for his outstanding performance during the month of July. Cugnoni breezed through the SL with 3 wins and no losses in 3 starts and a 1.61 ERA as he struck out 8 in 22.1 innings and held his opposition to a .225 batting average. |
