Injury Sidelines Carlos Morales for Season
Thursday, May 31st , 2046
The season is finished for Carlos Morales of the Levittown Blue Dragons. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Blue Dragons reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Monroeville Yinzers. Team doctors said it would take at least 11 months to heal.
To this point in the season, Morales has put up these figures: 0-2 record, no relief appearances with 30.2 innings, no saves, 30 strikeouts, 14 walks and a 2.05 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .155 batting average.
