Marquis Wins PA Honor Monday, August 20th , 2046 So far in his young career, António Marquis has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Caldwell Chiefs center fielder hit at a torrid .476 clip as he collected 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season in 55 games, Marquis has hit at a .246 clip with 52 hits, 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
