Chappell Goes Long 3 Times
Sunday, June 17th , 2046
Calvin Chappell must believe in the Big Bang theory. He proved it today by banging three deep against the Levittown Blue Dragons. The hard-hitting Laredo Hawks third baseman added a lot of firepower and excitement to the 13-2 Hawks win, leaving fans and the opposing dugout buzzing about his standout performance.

"He looked real good today," Levittown manager Terry King said later. "I think the guys were awful impressed by him. Frustrated, but impressed."

For the game, Chappell had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 8, and scored 4 runs. The 22-year-old is known in league circles as a tireless worker, and told reporters he has recently been putting in extra time fine-tuning his swing, "to keep it short, compact and simple."

"Looks like it worked today," he said.

Calvin Chappell flied out in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Bennett in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Tuo-zhou Zhào in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Tuo-zhou Zhào in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

This year Chappell is batting .246 with 12 home runs and 28 RBIs. In 37 games he has scored 24 times.
