Middleton Gets August's Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, September 1st , 2046 Walt Middleton is the latest USSL Single A Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Delmarva starter stood out on the hill time and again last month and finished August with a sparkling 4-0 record. In 4 starts last month, he fanned 26, walked 11 in 26.2 innings and posted a 0.67 ERA. Middleton held opposing teams to a .206 batting average when he was on the mound. This season Middleton has a 8-4 mark in 16 starts with a 2.42 ERA. He has given up 86 hits in 100.1 innings, struck out 96 and issued 29 walks.
