Playoffs Won't Happen for Commodores Sunday, August 26th , 2046 It won't be a season to remember for the Put-In-Bay Commodores, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Commodores were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2046 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Put-In-Bay shortstop Bill Booth. Put-In-Bay last appeared in the postseason in 2044. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 10 times in their 12 - year history. Put-In-Bay last won the SL A Championship in 2027. |
