Top 3A Hurler Honors Go to Maeda Friday, September 28th , 2046 Daisuke Maeda of the Mancelona Torch will be adding a new centerpiece to his mantel after being tabbed for the M3L Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award today. The 21-year-old hurler started 18 games this season, tallying a 11-5 record. In 118 innings, Maeda gave up 73 hits, struck out 140, walked 42 and held opponents to a .174 average as he posted a fine 1.68 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Inunnguaq Lovstrom of the Mancelona Torch finished second in voting, while Jake Owens of the Syracuse Storm finished third.
