Ford on Fire, 5-for-8 Against Alameda Friday, August 17th , 2046 Today at Fuller Park, the Kent Comets fell to the Alameda Airmen despite a splendid performance by catcher Christian Ford. Ford had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Airmen pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Kent to come away with the win. Alameda whipped Kent by a score of 6-5.
