Expos Jeff Petersen Will Miss Season Saturday, July 28th , 2046 Doctors in Niagara Falls said Jeff Petersen might not play anymore this year. The Expos reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament during a game against the Grand Forks Caterpillars and will be out for at least 13 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Petersen has earned 1 save and a 7-1 mark this season with a 1.81 earned run average in 1 relief appearance. He has worked 64.2 innings, yielded 44 hits, struck out 95 batters and walked 17. |
