Maeda Named Top 3A Hurler Sunday, July 1st , 2046 Daisuke Maeda hated to see June turn to July. And who could blame him? The 21-year-old hurler piled up 4 wins and no losses for the Torch last month and won the M3L Single A Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts. Maeda stymied opposing batters on 13 base hits and a .133 batting average. He rang up 32 strikeouts in 28.1 innings of work, surrendered 14 walks and fashioned a sparkling 0.64 ERA. Maeda has posted a 5-2 record for the year with a 0.63 ERA. Teams are hitting .137 against him and he has rung up 64 strikeouts in 57.1 innings. |
