Cattlemen Deal Shredders 3-1 Loss
|
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen picked up a win at The Hollywood Bowl, knocking off the Hollywood Shredders, 3-1. Starting pitcher Bhagavan Antle was a big reason why. The save was credited to Marvin Sidebottom, his 1st. The Cattlemen sport a record of 32-52.
Ft. Worth used the bat of Leland Sigurdson to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Cattlemen ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Sigurdson. "Those qualities define our team."
