Bullets Upend Grey Wolves, 5-1
|
The 5-1 Baltimore win over Vancouver was due in large part to Johan Kroening. The Bullets left fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Joo-hyun Pak earned save number 7 this season. With the win over Vancouver, the Bullets improved to 37-31.
With Baltimore leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Kroening hit a cutter from Hyeong-ro Park for a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Bullets ahead, 4-1.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Kroening told the Baltimore Chronicle.
