Baltimore pitcher Li-chi Lou did his part in helping his team beat the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 4-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Lou, the winner, moves to 4-4. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. With the win, Baltimore upped its record to 35-30.

The Cattlemen had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Bullets going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the top prospect Jorge Rocha came to the plate. Rocha hit a run-scoring triple on a 2-2 curveball from Ft. Worth hurler Kabeya Kasongo. It was Rocha's 2nd triple of the year.

Rocha called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
