Loons Clip Guinea Pigs 5-4 in R1 Contest
The Minnesota Loons and the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs will take the SL AA Championship to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Loons beat the Guinea Pigs 5-4 at Loony Bin to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Minnesota right-hander Micheal Bly had a big role in the win. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball.

The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Loons were trailing 2-1. John Dorian delivered a two-out 2-run single for Minnesota, catapulting his team into the lead.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Dorian.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 27th , 2046 at Experimental Stadium in Lawrenceville.
