Bullets Squelch Shredders Offense in Shutout Win
|
Baltimore right-hander Craig Wash pitched his team to victory over the Hollywood Shredders at Baltimore Grounds. The final score was 3-0. With the win, Baltimore raised its record to 34-27.
With one out in the bottom of the third, Leonid Machehin barreled up a cutter from Dave Becker. The result was a solo home run, putting the Bullets in front, 2-0.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Wash. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
