Billy Goats Dealt 6-3 Loss by Baltimore
|
The Baltimore Bullets bested the Colorado Billy Goats, 6-3, at Baltimore Grounds. Nathan Nelson was one of the standouts. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. The victory gives Baltimore a record of 30-23.
In the bottom of the sixth, Baltimore left fielder Donald White put his team on top. With two out and a runner on 2nd, he hit his 13th home run of the year. Colorado pitcher Poto Boldrini served it up. Just like that, the Bullets were ahead, 4-3.
"Good win for our guys," said White.
