The Baltimore Bullets took Ft. Worth pitcher Bhagavan Antle's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Baltimore Grounds. The final score had Baltimore getting past the Cattlemen, 7-2. Antle went 5 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 2. Baltimore reliever Ron Lucas picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Benny Berry was saddled with the loss. The win gives Baltimore a season record of 28-22.
Nathan Nelson took Benny Berry deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run home run put the Bullets on top, 5-2. In all, Nelson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Baltimore manager Brandon Slouck.
