Getting offensive support from Sébastien Cornu, the Charleston Battery topped the D.C. Divided, 7-6. Cornu went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Battery. Charleston reliever James Tucker picked up the win, raising his record to 2-4. Ron Blackshaw was tagged with the loss. The Battery now have a record of 17-32.

Charleston needed the clutch hitting of Jon Huband to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Battery on top, 7-6. For the game, Huband had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
