The Flint Crush and Beaumont Crossbeaus put on quite a show.
Flint Crush starter Ray Wright was in fine form against the Beaumont Crossbeaus at Flint Park, leading his team to a win, 4-3. Cristo Sánchez, now 5-5, was credited with the win. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 0 and walking 1.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Flint trailing 3-2, Emosi Kolora hit a fastball from Kulani Wirrin to center for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Crush had a walk-off win.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Kolora said.
Flint now has a 3-game win streak.
