Interns Snag 8-2 Win

Conditions were not ideal but Capital Hill and Memphis were able to put their game in the books.
The Memphis Music got a superb performance from pitcher Pino Bragaghio. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Capital Hill. The Interns won the game, 8-2. Bragaghio threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Capital Hill reliever Ramón Mendoza was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Eduardo Rivera took the loss.
The outcome might have been different for Capital Hill, had it not been for Kerry Carcia, the 19-year old first baseman . Carcia stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Capital Hill up, 3-2. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
Memphis manager Dave Everett said his team was "out of sync."
Capital Hill is now 41-42. Memphis is 36-47.
