The Redwood Rhinos beat the Flint Crush, 4-1. Redwood pitcher and Posadas, Argentina, native Flavio Lapo led the way. Félix Hernández notched his 22nd save in 26 chances. The victory gives Redwood a record of 39-39.

Redwood used the bat of Edward Panther to capture the win. The catcher jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Lapo told the Redwood Citizen.
