Amarillo used a superb performance from starting pitcher Markus McCandles to down the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 2-1. Myeong-han Song earned the save, his 1st. The Warheads' win now puts them at 33-40.

It could have been a different outcome for Amarillo, had it not been for Ricardo Biltró, the 19-year old second baseman . Biltró contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Amarillo up, 2-1.

"We'll enjoy this win," said McCandles. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
