Amarillo Warheads starter Cliff Scarlett turned in a top-notch performance against the Flint Crush at Ballpark of Henderson. The result was a win for the Warheads, 4-2. Myeong-han Song earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-2. The Warheads now have a record of 32-40.

Had Yok-sing Hsu not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Hsu hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Warheads.

Flint manager Steve Bryan said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
