The Long Island Ducks eked out a 3-2 win versus the Flint Crush at Ducks Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Hsi-men Chou. He was terrific. Chou, now 2-4, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Larry Wilson notched his 7th save in 7 chances.

Shigochiyo Baba went 1 for 2 for Long Island. The 19-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With no one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Ray Wright. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.

"Feels good to get the job done," Baba said after the game.
