Late Magic Gets Beaumont 8-1 Win
Beaumont Crossbeaus starter Cenek Stensel had all his pitches working at Ballpark of Henderson. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Beaumont win over the Amarillo Warheads. Kulani Wirrin earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Beaumont is now 39-22.

Gustavo Rosales, the 18-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rosales contributed a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put Beaumont up, 3-1.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Steve Ferguson said.
