Rhinos Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season
|
Hiang-ta Anderson never let Northwest Territory get something going. The Redwood left-hander commanded his slider in pitching the Rhinos to a 2-1 win. The 'W' lifts Redwood's record to 31-27.
Armando Pineda was the walk-off hero for Redwood. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rhinos center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"What a buzz," said Pineda after it was over.
