Stingers Lose Again, 6-3, to Bullets
Baltimore starter Govaart van Ankeren pitched well against the Toledo Stingers at Baltimore Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. In 5 innings, van Ankeren surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Sergio Ramírez collected his 1st save.

Leonid Machehin had a big hit for Baltimore in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Baltimore leading 2-1, Machehin hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Bullets up, 5-1.
