Octopi Roll to 8-1 Win Over Rhinos
The Ogallala Octopi picked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, knocking off the Redwood Rhinos, 8-1. Starting pitcher Jimmy Morales was a big reason why. Morales went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-3. Chiah-jen Fu earned the save, his 2nd, for the Octopi.

The Octopi grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With one out, Raúl Alaniz hit a grand slam home run off José Huerta, putting Ogallala in front, 7-1. For Alaniz, it was his 2nd home run of the season.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Alaniz. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The Octopi, at 21-24, sit in 6th place in the Silver R.
