The Northwest Territory Beavers went down to defeat to Clarence Green and his Beaumont teammates. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Crossbeaus. Green went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 4-3. Casey Parsons earned the save, his 3rd, for the Crossbeaus.
Beaumont relied on the hitting of Matt Greene to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Crossbeaus on top, 2-0. For the game, Greene had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Northwest Territory manager Melvin Henry.
