Slumping Ducks Lose Again, 7-3
The Ogallala Octopi racked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, bumping off the Long Island Ducks, 7-3. Stan Malone, who started for Ogallala, pitched effectively for his team. Malone, now 1-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Long Island, at 14-24, has lost 6 straight.
