The Beaumont Crossbeaus knocked off the Ogallala Octopi, 6-5, at The Target. Kick Elsenaar was a big reason Beaumont won. The shortstop went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Alberto Ramos snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 2-1 on the season. The Crossbeaus have an impressive 24-11 record.

The Crossbeaus relied on catcher Ryan Hunter for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Hunter said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
