Rhinos Clip Music, 3-2
|
The Rhinos grabbed a win, 3-2, at The Stage in Memphis, overcoming a fine effort from Memphis pitcher Ken Barrett. Barrett went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Kyle Chambers collected save number 2. The losing streak for Memphis has now reached 5 games.
Redwood took a 3-2 lead on Charlie Parker's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Parker hit in the top of the eighth, left Memphis pitcher Mario Pérez shaking his head.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Memphis manager Dave Everett said following the tough loss.
