Flint got a strong outing from Ismael Nicacio as the Crush defeated the Ogallala Octopi, 5-2, at Nebraska Aquarium. Claudio Aguilar earned the save, his 5th. The Octopi, now 6-11, continue their sluggish start.

Flint used the bat of Namaka Hairama to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crush ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Hairama.
