Bethlehem Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties defeated the Germantown Uruguayans, 2-1, in USPL Rookie action at Kittie Park. Bethlehem pitcher Bob Wicks had a standout performance. Bethlehem has a 3-game win streak, while Germantown has lost 3 in a row.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the 11th, with Bethlehem trailing 1-0, Elton Olivant jumped on a first pitch fastball from Francisco Souza for a 2-run home run, sending the Angel Kitties to a walk-off win.
"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Olivant.
