Beavers Lose By a Run at Capital Hill, 6-5
Both teams had their chances, but the Capital Hill Interns eventually prevailed.

The Capital Hill Interns topped the Northwest Territory Beavers, 6-5, with youngster Garth Morrison playing a key role. Morrison was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Interns in the win. Northwest Territory falls to 6-7.

Morrison had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 cutter from Gianlorenzo Albertini, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Interns a 5-4 lead. It was the 4th double of the year for Morrison.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Morrison said after the game.
