Ducks Get 3-2 Win Versus Capital Hill
|
Zhao-dao Tze pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Capital Hill Interns, despite Tze's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Long Island Ducks at Ducks Park. Larry Ayala picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Zhao-dao Tze was tagged with the loss. At 2-1, the Ducks have played well so far.
Kenneth Spivey contributed to the Long Island win. The 19-year old second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Spivey was 1-3 with a double.
Spivey called the triumph "a good team win."
