Blue Dragons Suffer 5-2 Setback
|
The Chicago Tula got a stellar performance from pitcher Dave Martin, who handcuffed the Levittown offense en route to a win, 5-2, at The Cave at Levittown. Chicago now sits in second place in the Premier A at 54-42.
Chicago used a well-timed hit by Kane Blackwood to capture the win. The left fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Tula ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Blackwood told the Chicago Citizen.
