Levittown Blue Dragons starter Lando de Ruijter turned in a sterling performance against the Chicago Tula, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Levittown's record now stands at 41-54, placing them 9th in the Premier A.
In the bottom of the fifth, Hendri Roos delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Levittown center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Blue Dragons in front, 3-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," de Ruijter told the Levittown Herald.
