2-0 Loss to Otters Extends Quebec City Losing Streak
|
The Tulsa Otters trumped the Quebec City Baby Blues, 2-0, at Ballpark of Hughesville. Tulsa center fielder Bake McBride was terrific. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. Arthur Corrigan nailed down his 6th save. The Baby Blues, now 12-31, have lost 7 straight.
With Tulsa leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, McBride hit a fastball from Rod Ropp for a solo home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Otters ahead, 2-0.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Tulsa manager Luis Díaz.
