The Laredo Hawks topped the Idaho Falls Chukars, 9-6, in USPL Single A action at Hawks Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Laredo pitcher Kevin Ashe. In 7 innings, Ashe surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Michael Donovan recorded the save, his 18th.

Laredo grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Arturo Collazo delivered a 2-run single, to make it 3-1 in favor of the Hawks.
