The Quebec City Baby Blues dealt the Shady Side Zoomies a 6-5 loss at Dylan Park. Edmund Benson was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Robert Joubert got credit for the save for Quebec City. It was his 3rd of the year. Even with the win, the Baby Blues have a dismal 8-18 record.

Quebec City took a 6-4 lead on José Picarzo's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Picarzo hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Shady Side pitcher Donald Scott visibly frustrated.

"We'll savor this win," Picarzo told the Quebec City Times, "then get ready for the next game."
