Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Blue Dragons
The Myrtle Beach Seahawks got a superb performance from pitcher Wayne King, but the Levittown Blue Dragons still won the game, 3-1. King threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Perry Copeland, now 2-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Wessel de Best finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Noburo Iwasaki hit a 2-run double off Todd Gould in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Blue Dragons in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Iwasaki had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"I felt good up there," said Iwasaki. "I saw the ball well."

The Blue Dragons go to 28-44 with the win.
