In a low-scoring contest, Idaho Falls pitcher Al Waddle was marvelous in his team's 3-0 win. Waddle, the winner, moves to 6-4. He threw 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 5 walks. George Jetson earned the save, his 15th, for the Chukars.

Idaho Falls used a clutch hit from Romain Picot to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Chukars ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Waddle said.

The victory puts Idaho Falls at 27-41.
