Levittown shortstop Ryan Sánchez contributed to his team's 4-3 win over the Idaho Falls Chukars. Sánchez went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Blue Dragons. The slumping Chukars have lost 9 straight.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Sánchez hit a sinker from George Jetson for a run-scoring single. The Blue Dragons, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
Idaho Falls manager Jorge Silva said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
