The Idaho Falls Chukars went down to defeat to Gudrat Tumanov and his Caldwell teammates. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Chiefs. Matt Thomas earned the save for Caldwell, his 3rd of the year. The losing streak for Idaho Falls has now reached 8 games.

Caldwell used the timely hitting of Dong Jin to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Chiefs on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
