Godfathers Deal Vandals 7-4 Defeat

The Pontiac Godfathers bested the Eugene Vandals, 7-4, at Pontiac Copperdome. Frank Curry was one of the standouts. He was 1-1 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win has Pontiac at 37-57.
In the bottom of the sixth, Pontiac designated hitter Neyo Caguioa gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Crazylegs hit his 3rd home run of the year. Eugene pitcher Tim O'Heyne surrendered it. With that, the Godfathers jumped in front, 5-3.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Caguioa.
