Reapers Come Up Short at Delmarva, 4-3
Delmarva starter Kevin Brown had a strong outing against the Grim Reapers at The Cage. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The winning pitcher was Brown, now 5-6. He tossed 5.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. Earning his 1st save of the year was Dan Kennedy.

Manuel Cuevas had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season put Delmarva on top, 3-2.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Grim manager Terrence Eler. "But we decided not to take it."

Delmarva currently is in 7th place in the Silver A at 42-51.
