|
Starting pitcher Brian Boggs was a major factor in the 4-1 Myrtle Beach Seahawks triumph over the Chicago Tula. Boggs went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-4. With the win, Myrtle Beach goes to 28-30, while the Tula fall to 29-29.
Jonathan Long, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Long contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Myrtle Beach up, 4-1.
