Le belts 2 home runs to Power Generals Offense
|
The Washington Generals bested the Rocky Mountain Vibes, 7-5, at Bellevue Field. Shi-ping Le was one of the standouts. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Albert Davis picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 10 in 7 innings. Washington goes to 48-45, Rocky Mountain to 47-46.
Washington used a well-timed hit by Marvello Millon to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Generals ahead, 5-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We take it day by day here," said Le, "and today was a good one for us."
